Kia India has launched the Kia EV9 along with the 2024 Kia Carnival Limousine. The EV9 was seen at the AutoExpo 2023. Both these cars are coming under CBU unit in India. Kia Carnival Features
The Kia Carnival features auto LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 18-inch alloy wheels, a dual electric sunroof and LED tail lamps connected to an LED light bar. Talking about the interior, it gets two-tone interior with 12.3-inch driver display, 12.3-inch infotainment system with 12-speaker Bose system, 11-inch head-up display, 12-way powered driver’s seat and 8-way powered passenger seat. The front row seats have ventilation and heating features. Other features include shift-by-wire, 64 color ambient lighting, rain sensing wipers and push button start/stop. The second row features sliding and reclining seats with ventilation, heating and leg support, roof mounted AC vents, sunshades for all windows and electric sliding doors. Kia EV9 Battery & Power
The Kia EV9 has a 99.8kWh battery that provides a range of 490 kilometers on a single charge. The car gets a dual electric all wheel drive (AWD) version that generates 379bhp of power and 700Nm of torque. The company claims that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km in just 5.3 seconds. It can be charged up to 10-80 percent in just 24 minutes through a 350kW DC fast charger.
