Xiaomi has listed its new BE3600 router on the global website. This hints that the company is preparing to launch this router in the global market. The BE3600 is Xiaomi’s affordable Wi-Fi 7 router, which was launched in China earlier this year. At the time, the company said it was its cheapest Wi-Fi 7 router. It uses only 2.4G and 5G frequency bands. Xiaomi claims that this router can achieve a maximum speed of 2,882 MBit/s in the 5GHz band, while the speed is limited to 688 MBit/s in the 2.4GHz band.
Xiaomi has listed the Xiaomi Router BE3600 in its global market. However, the price information is not available here at the moment. The listing on the website may hint at its soon to be launched in the global market. Pricing information may also be revealed at the time of launch. However, Xiaomi has not yet made any official announcement regarding the global launch of this Wi-Fi 7 router. It was the cheapest Wi-Fi 7 router in the company’s portfolio at the time of its launch in China earlier this year.
Xiaomi products are available on AliExpress in China and those in select global markets can have it delivered to their country with shipping charges. However, it seems that the company is now planning to save people shipping charges after bringing it to the global market.
The Xiaomi Router offers a dual-band wireless rate of 3570 Mbps. It supports two bands – 2.4GHz and 5GHz, which means users will not get 6GHz support. Wi-Fi 7 offers a 44% increase in throughput compared to Wi-Fi 6. The company says this has been achieved using the 5G frequency band supporting 2×2 160 MHz.
Xiaomi Router BE3600 includes one 2.5G network port and three Gigabit network ports. It also offers dual broadband access and dual LAN aggregation. The router has customizable ports for IPTV.
Xiaomi says it can achieve a maximum of 2,882 MBit/s in the 5GHz band, while the 2.4GHz band is limited to just 688 MBit/s. The router runs on a Qualcomm 4-core 1.1GHz processor, which provides a computing power of 10120 DMIPS. This enables it to give online access to up to 128 devices simultaneously.
